An unexpectedly hard shot by Akif Yaslı in the 22nd minute of play forced Yüregir's goalkeeper Taci Mecnun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cay SK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ufuk Ramiz 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. After 34 played minutes Yüregir got a freekick which was hit by Özbek Lema. After 35 played minutes, Cay SK's Melik Taşkınay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taci Mecnun came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cay SK reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Yaşar Nuri Lütufkâr managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cay SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yaşar Nuri Lütufkâr was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taci Mecnun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

In the 73rd minute Emrullah Geçim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Musa Baloğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ufuk Ramiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Musa Baloğlu having to interfere. Saffet Nasip kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Yaşar Nuri Lütufkâr struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Taci Mecnun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cay SK. In the 89th minute, Cem Onguner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Akif Yaslı managed to get in a good position for a shot.
