Cay SK's Akif Yaslı managed to work through Yildirim's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. In the 26th minute, Nihat Toycan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Cay SK's goal looked a bit too open when Nihat Toycan came free, but Musa Baloğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes Cay SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Seyfi Ehil who took care of the corner kick. In the 33rd play minute Can Nebi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Musa Baloğlu. 1-0. Can Nebi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Musa Baloğlu having to interfere. Cay SK's Musa Baloğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Cay SK from getting a goal against them. If Can Nebi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Saffet Nasip kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Seyfi Ehil struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Musa Baloğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yildirim. When Nihat Toycan came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Yildirim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nihat Toycan couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Nihat Toycan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Musa Baloğlu was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 77thth minute of the game Nihat Toycan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cay SK's Musa Baloğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Hakan Konguralp made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Akif Yaslı sent off a good shot on target. Musa Baloğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Can Nebi in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Yildirim booed when Cay SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlyas Tolga Yordam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Can Nebi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute.
