When Ramazan Sağıt fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Konya's protests and gave Ramazan Sağıt a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Konya getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ramazan Sağıt hit a great ball. Bican Sarıcabay's late challenge caught a Cassiope SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bican Sarıcabay helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Konya getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bican Sarıcabay hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Konya's goalkeeper Atilla İpekçi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vahap Yahya. When Cassiope SK's Fehmi Doğay in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Konya's goalie prevented a goal. Fehmi Doğay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Atilla İpekçi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Konya getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tugay İlter hit a great ball. Vahap Yahya's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Atilla İpekçi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 26 minutes of play, Cassiope SK's Fehmi Doğay made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilla İpekçi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Fehmi Doğay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Atilla İpekçi. That made the score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Fehmi Doğay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fehmi Doğay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Cassiope SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bican Sarıcabay came free, but Vefa Perkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fehmi Doğay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Behiç Onultan charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Behiç Onultan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Behiç Onultan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Fehmi Doğay, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Behiç Onultan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Konya's Tugay İlter got a free kick in the 59th minute. Fehmi Doğay took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilla İpekçi. Atilla İpekçi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 67 minutes into the match, Konya's goal looked a bit too open when Fehmi Doğay came free, but Atilla İpekçi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Konya defense, Vahap Yahya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilla İpekçi. The Konya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilla İpekçi should have stopped the shot. Behiç Onultan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vefa Perkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Cassiope SK's goalkeeper Vefa Perkin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bican Sarıcabay. If Fehmi Doğay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
