After a rather tough play, Kadirli İdman Yurdu's Köksal Akmeşe got a free kick in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Kadirli İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Alp Özkutsal came free, but Güvenç Malkoç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güvenç Malkoç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alp Özkutsal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Köstence SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hulki Baloğlu came free, but Nebi Başat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Köstence SK's Nebi Başat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zafer Tülün in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Zafer Tülün ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nebi Başat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, Köstence SK's goal looked a bit too open when Seyfettin Yalkın came free, but Nebi Başat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güvenç Malkoç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selim Talaykan in the 31st minute of the match. Güvenç Malkoç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selim Talaykan, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Köksal Akmeşe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nebi Başat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafer Tülün in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Orhan Seyfi Daman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Güvenç Malkoç. Orhan Seyfi Daman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Kadirli İdman Yurdu's Güvenç Malkoç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Özkutsal in the 43rd minute of play. İstemihan Birsen kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Nebi Başat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafer Tülün in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hulki Baloğlu made a kick off. Orhan Seyfi Daman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, Kadirli İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Alp Özkutsal came free, but Güvenç Malkoç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Orhan Seyfi Daman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köstence SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhan Seyfi Daman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alp Özkutsal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güvenç Malkoç having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Orhan Seyfi Daman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Köstence SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhan Seyfi Daman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Güvenç Malkoç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alp Özkutsal's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Güvenç Malkoç came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Köstence SK's Yavuz Selim Tuğyan. But to his dismay, Yavuz Selim Tuğyan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 74 minutes into the match, Kadirli İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Alp Özkutsal came free, but Güvenç Malkoç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Güvenç Malkoç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alp Özkutsal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alp Özkutsal in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güvenç Malkoç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nebi Başat was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Hulki Baloğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hulki Baloğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. Güvenç Malkoç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alp Özkutsal's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Alp Özkutsal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güvenç Malkoç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orhan Seyfi Daman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güvenç Malkoç having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Köstence SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
