When Refik Salih fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Bursa SK's protests and gave Refik Salih a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes New Bursa SK got a freekick which was hit by Refik Salih. In the 13th minute, Ataol Zirve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zafer Tülün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özcan Baykut having to interfere. When New Bursa SK's Ataol Zirve in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Özcan Baykut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ali Güralp Temirhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berkant İldeniz during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ataol Zirve to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güvenç Malkoç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kadirli İdman Yurdu's Güvenç Malkoç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Güralp Temirhan in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Ataol Zirve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Bursa SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ataol Zirve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. New Bursa SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Hulki Baloğlu scored to the left of an out of position Özcan Baykut, making the score, 0-1. In the 87th minute, Ali Güralp Temirhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Kadirli İdman Yurdu defense, Ali Güralp Temirhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Güvenç Malkoç. The Kadirli İdman Yurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güvenç Malkoç should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Köksal Akmeşe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kadirli İdman Yurdu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Bursa SK the free kick. The supporters of New Bursa SK booed when Kadirli İdman Yurdu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Köksal Akmeşe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
