Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Konya's Tugay İlter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Konya getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ramazan Sağıt hit a great ball. When Cüneyd Necmi came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the HullCity fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cüneyd Necmi couldn't finish the play. Konya's Bican Sarıcabay got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Behiç Onultan fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Konya's protests and gave Behiç Onultan a yellow card for diving instead. Behiç Onultan kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Tugay İlter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hasret Vahit read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The supporters of HullCity booed when Konya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökberk Açar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Kıvanç showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bican Sarıcabay in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hasret Vahit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th minute, Uluç Sayman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Konya getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Tugay İlter hit a great ball. The Konya supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching HullCity's performance. The match ended with a win for HullCity.
