Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Ahmet Kağan Enginalp started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 9th minute of the game, Rüknettin Geylan landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Yağızalp Attaroğlu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zafer Tülün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özen Doğan having to interfere. If Hulki Baloğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Kağan Enginalp kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Özen Doğan made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Zafer Tülün sent off a good shot on target. Kadirli İdman Yurdu's Hulki Baloğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Petkim booed when Kadirli İdman Yurdu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melik Sayar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özen Doğan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Güvenç Malkoç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayram Baykam in the 37th minute of play. Korkutalp Uyaralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kadirli İdman Yurdu's zone, Bayram Baykam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güvenç Malkoç came out of the goal and Bayram Baykam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Kağan Enginalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Köksal Akmeşe hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Bayram Baykam scored 1-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güvenç Malkoç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hulki Baloğlu made a kick off. Bayram Baykam struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Güvenç Malkoç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petkim. If Bayram Baykam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Hilmi Mübarek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Petkim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilmi Mübarek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Petkim's Korkutalp Uyaralp got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Hulki Baloğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Kadirli İdman Yurdu's goal looked a bit too open when Korkutalp Uyaralp came free, but Güvenç Malkoç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bayram Baykam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Güvenç Malkoç managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Petkim's Bayram Baykam fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Bayram Baykam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petkim's supporters rose to their feet, but Bayram Baykam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güvenç Malkoç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korkutalp Uyaralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güvenç Malkoç having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kadirli İdman Yurdu defense, Bayram Baykam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Güvenç Malkoç. The Kadirli İdman Yurdu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güvenç Malkoç should have stopped the shot. Bayram Baykam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güvenç Malkoç having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Kadirli İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Güvenç Malkoç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korkutalp Uyaralp. Bayram Baykam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korkutalp Uyaralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Güvenç Malkoç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bayram Baykam got free with Güvenç Malkoç in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Korkutalp Uyaralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Güvenç Malkoç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Petkim left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kadirli İdman Yurdu.
