Fc Denizli's supporters rose to their feet, but Balaban Tekalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hulki Sayar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Montenegro's Hulki Sayar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balaban Tekalp in the 11th minute of play. Mürsel Horasanlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hakan Salcan in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, one of Fc Denizli:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fc Denizli. Mürsel Horasanlı came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Montenegro's Sedat Lokman. But to his dismay, Sedat Lokman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Demircan Ganim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mürsel Horasanlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erenay Akçan hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balaban Tekalp in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hulki Sayar saved Montenegro from getting behind. When Fc Denizli's Balaban Tekalp in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erenay Akçan couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Montenegro's Bünyamin Şenal got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Montenegro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fc Denizli were winning 1-2.

The Montenegro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fc Denizli were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
