The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ali Asım Cebe hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Aktaç Beykan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Hulki Sayar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdulbaki İhlas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demircan Ganim, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, GöztepeMMM's Reşat Şahinter got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 16th minute, Haydar Şahinter made a precise shot to the right of Abdulbaki İhlas. GöztepeMMM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. GöztepeMMM's Abbas Yanıker got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, GöztepeMMM's goal looked a bit too open when Haydar Şahinter came free, but Abdulbaki İhlas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hulki Sayar was a little too slow when Abbas Yanıker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. Abbas Yanıker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hulki Sayar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Aktaç Beykan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hulki Sayar. That made the score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, GöztepeMMM's Abbas Yanıker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hulki Sayar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Ahmet Hakan Salcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdulbaki İhlas. GöztepeMMM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Hakan Salcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aktaç Beykan was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Montenegro's Haydar Şahinter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdulbaki İhlas. Abdulbaki İhlas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Abdulbaki İhlas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Hakan Salcan in the 60th minute of play. Demircan Ganims short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Abdulbaki İhlas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ahmet Hakan Salcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulbaki İhlas having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Abbas Yanıker left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GöztepeMMM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. With a little luck, GöztepeMMM's Abdulbaki İhlas got control of the ball when Demircan Ganim tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 79 minutes, Aktaç Beykan made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Montenegro's Hulki Sayar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mehmet Ali Bostancı didn't quite understand what happened when in the 87 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Hulki Sayar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abbas Yanıker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Abbas Yanıker came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the GöztepeMMM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abbas Yanıker couldn't finish the play. Hulki Sayar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktaç Beykan, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Abbas Yanıker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee ended the match the GöztepeMMM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
