After a rather tough play, Bayraktepe Gençlikspor's Akın Candeğer got a free kick in the 13th minute. İbrahim Ethem Mutluer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ataol Siddik. Bayraktepe Gençlikspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balaban Tekalp in the 18th minute of play forced Bayraktepe Gençlikspor's goalkeeper Ataol Siddik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Fc Denizli defense, Ilgaz Cesur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mürsel Horasanlı. The Fc Denizli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mürsel Horasanlı should have stopped the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Lokman Onal in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fc Denizli's İbrahim Ethem Mutluer. In the 27th minute Ilgaz Cesur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mürsel Horasanlı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balaban Tekalp struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Ataol Siddik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Denizli. After a defensive mix-up in Bayraktepe Gençlikspor's zone, Cesur Nabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ataol Siddik came out of the goal and Cesur Nabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilgaz Cesur during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fc Denizli booed when Bayraktepe Gençlikspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilgaz Cesur didn't get a good kick on the ball. İbrahim Ethem Mutluer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 minutes, Akın Candeğer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayraktepe Gençlikspor and the Fc Denizli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Balaban Tekalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Siddik having to interfere. Ataol Siddik came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Denizli's Balaban Tekalp. But to his dismay, Balaban Tekalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Ender Teber took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ataol Siddik to make any attempt to save it. Ilgaz Cesur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mürsel Horasanlı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilgaz Cesur, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Balaban Tekalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 66 played minutes, Fc Denizli's Cesur Nabi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ataol Siddik came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc Denizli reached it. Ataol Siddik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balaban Tekalp's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the last second Ataol Siddik throw himself and got hold of the ball when Balaban Tekalp in the 75thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Mürsel Horasanlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erkut Zabit in the 76th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Fc Denizli players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
