The supporters of Sima spor booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abbas Lami didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mustafa Hamit Okcan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Sima spor's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Hamit Okcan came free, but Cemal Kongar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fenerbahçe's Mustafa Hamit Okcan got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Derya Bucak might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cemal Kongar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Derya Bucak ran back to his position shaking his head. Mustafa Hamit Okcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemal Kongar having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mustafa Hamit Okcan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cemal Kongar. That made the score 1-2 in the 93 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Mustafa Hamit Okcan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cemal Kongar. The goal made the score 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Fenerbahçe left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sima spor.
