Rüştü Doğanten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celal Gözlem in the 11th minute of play. Bozkir FK's Celal Gözlem got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Halil İbrahim Zübeyir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celal Gözlem blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rüştü Doğanten having to make a save. A collision led to Bozkir FK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Batıhan İmran hit a great ball. After 26 minutes of play, Merinos's Müfit Öztunç made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Numan Dervişoğlu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Arif Kıralp in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Numan Dervişoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rüştü Doğanten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halil İbrahim Zübeyir in the 32nd minute of play. Batı Şahsuvaroğlu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Güray Oktar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rüştü Doğanten. Merinos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Halil İbrahim Zübeyir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rüştü Doğanten was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Merinos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bozkir FK the free kick. Rüştü Doğanten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celal Gözlem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Rüştü Doğanten made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bozkir FK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
