Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berkay Ulucan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, İhsan Akalp fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Yılmaz Ilıcan, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cuma Bardakçı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Çayıralan SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cuma Bardakçı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yılmaz Ilıcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mücahit İlhanoğlu struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Yılmaz Ilıcan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Çayıralan SK. After having played for 22 minutes, Edip Ayazoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Çayıralan SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edip Ayazoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edip Ayazoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Çayıralan SK booed when PetrolSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeynel Rüştü didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çayıralan SK's attentive İhsan Akalp managed to snatch the ball when Vacid Cezri made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Cuma Bardakçı's late challenge caught a PetrolSpor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cuma Bardakçı helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Çayıralan SK got a freekick which was hit by Cuma Bardakçı. Yılmaz Ilıcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edip Ayazoğlu in the 39th minute of the match. Ali Berkant Selim's late challenge caught a Çayıralan SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Berkant Selim helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, PetrolSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Berkant Selim to maneuver through the defense. PetrolSpor's Yılmaz Ilıcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İhsan Akalp in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Çayıralan SK's İhsan Akalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yılmaz Ilıcan narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mücahit İlhanoğlu to make the kick off. Edip Ayazoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yılmaz Ilıcan having to interfere. İhsan Akalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Çakabey Balısoy made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ersin Öktuna immediately put the ball in play. Yılmaz Ilıcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İhsan Akalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute İhsan Akalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yılmaz Ilıcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edip Ayazoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PetrolSpor's Ali Berkant Selim got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Ali Berkant Selim off the ground. In the 65th minute, Ali Berkant Selim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, İhsan Akalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yılmaz Ilıcan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Edip Ayazoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İhsan Akalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yılmaz Ilıcan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. İhsan Akalp ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in PetrolSpor's zone, Edip Ayazoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yılmaz Ilıcan came out of the goal and Edip Ayazoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cuma Bardakçı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Edip Ayazoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When İhsan Akalp came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Çayıralan SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İhsan Akalp couldn't finish the play.
