Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Burhan Yağızbay started the match with the kick off. KARS SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 2nd minute, when Birkan Demiray scored to the left of an out of position Yüce Batırhan, making the score, 1-0. Burhan Yağızbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutay İzzet having to interfere. Alemdar Kocaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yüce Batırhan having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Alemdar Kocaker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Yüce Batırhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Onurhan Kutalmış's late challenge caught a KARS SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Onurhan Kutalmış helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of KARS SK booed when Susurluk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onurhan Kutalmış didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alemdar Kocaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kutay İzzet came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by KARS SK's Ramiz Balbay. But to his dismay, Ramiz Balbay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Birkan Demiray came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Susurluk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birkan Demiray couldn't finish the play. Kutay İzzet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burhan Yağızbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alemdar Kocaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute Birkan Demiray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yüce Batırhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birkan Demiray to make the kick off. Kutay İzzet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burhan Yağızbay in the 60th minute of play. Burhan Yağızbay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kutay İzzet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 68th minute, Burhan Yağızbay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KARS SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 80thth minute of the game Alemdar Kocaker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KARS SK's Yüce Batırhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Onurhan Kutalmış was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 84 minutes had been played. A collision led to Susurluk getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Onurhan Kutalmış hit a great ball. After 88 minutes Susurluk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Berke Mertel who took care of the corner kick. KARS SK's Berke Mertel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Kutay İzzet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nafiz Boysan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched KARS SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
