The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Dhirrim Demir Çelikspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferhan Mutlugün to maneuver through the defense. Alperen Aydın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bumin Tuncalp having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Neons's Abuzer Şıran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bumin Tuncalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sermet İzci hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Dhirrim Demir Çelikspor's goal looked a bit too open when Abuzer Şıran came free, but Bumin Tuncalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Abuzer Şıran came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Neons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abuzer Şıran couldn't finish the play. After 23 played minutes Dhirrim Demir Çelikspor got a freekick which was hit by Sermet İzci. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Abuzer Şıran took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Bumin Tuncalp to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Neons's Ahmet Ege Özerdinc got a free kick in the 27th minute. Muhammet İlbeyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Öztanır having to interfere. Neons's Mustafa Birol Öztanır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cihan Berkkan in the 31st minute of play. Cihan Berkkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Öztanır having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Musa Tanyol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes, Neons's Çelikan Hicab shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bumin Tuncalp came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Neons reached it. Dhirrim Demir Çelikspor's Bumin Tuncalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abuzer Şıran in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Neons's goalkeeper Mustafa Birol Öztanır, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Dhirrim Demir Çelikspor booed when Neons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alperen Aydın didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abuzer Şıran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Neons's Abuzer Şıran in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dhirrim Demir Çelikspor's goalie prevented a goal. Bumin Tuncalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abuzer Şıran, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cihan Berkkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Alperen Aydın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abuzer Şıran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute of the match Oğuzhan Enginsoy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bumin Tuncalp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sermet İzci was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Dhirrim Demir Çelikspor's Sermet İzci got a free kick in the 89th minute. Abuzer Şıran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bumin Tuncalp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Neons fully deserved thier win.
