Spectators: 7193 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Özden Önateş took the kick off in the first half of the match. Güner İstikbal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Necmi Tülek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Adapazari defense, Haldun Sarvan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of İsmet Yalın. The Adapazari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İsmet Yalın should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the match, FILOFOZ's Özden Önateş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İsmet Yalın narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Haldun Sarvan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özden Önateş got in the 15th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but İsmet Yalın handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. İsmet Yalın made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özden Önateş in the 17th minute of play. After 18 minutes, Aktuğ Akboğa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Adapazari and the FILOFOZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aktuğ Akboğa hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, FILOFOZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Korkut Tolunay to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FILOFOZ getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Hüsnü Kutulmuş hit a great ball. Emrah Şahin struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Necmi Tülek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adapazari. Güner İstikbal kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Emrah Şahin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, FILOFOZ's Mustafa Emre Hattat got a free kick in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FILOFOZ's zone, Aktuğ Akboğa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necmi Tülek came out of the goal and Aktuğ Akboğa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emrah Şahin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Adapazari got a corner. FILOFOZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Üzeyir Özveren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Necmi Tülek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktuğ Akboğa, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, FILOFOZ's goal looked a bit too open when Aktuğ Akboğa came free, but Necmi Tülek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Adapazari's goal looked a bit too open when Özden Önateş came free, but İsmet Yalın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktuğ Akboğa in the 77th minute of play forced FILOFOZ's goalkeeper Necmi Tülek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aktuğ Akboğa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Necmi Tülek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emrah Şahin in the 79th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Özden Önateş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
