Spectators: 5500 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Battal Seyyit Şensoy made the kick off which started today's match. Bora Taylak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şadi Serafet in the 6th minute of play forced FC Twente's goalkeeper Bedrettin Günden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Twente's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Şadi Serafet scored to the left of an out of position Bedrettin Günden, making the score, 1-0. In the 11th minute, Mahmut Satılmış hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Askale's Tacettin Nuralp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okaner Tugal in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, FC Twente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halim Öktuğ to maneuver through the defense. Tacettin Nuralp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cemal Türkol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Battal Seyyit Şensoy in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tacettin Nuralp saved Askale from getting behind. In the 41st minute Ömer Oytun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedrettin Günden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ömer Oytun to strike the kick off in the second half. Ömer Oytun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bedrettin Günden having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Twente's zone, Ömer Oytun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedrettin Günden came out of the goal and Ömer Oytun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bora Taylak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ömer Oytun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bedrettin Günden having to make a save. Bedrettin Günden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şadi Serafet, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. FC Twente's Bedrettin Günden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şadi Serafet in the 82nd minute of play. If Bora Taylak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bedrettin Günden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Oytun in the 86th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Twente defense, Ömer Oytun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bedrettin Günden. The FC Twente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bedrettin Günden should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that Askale were the better team. Askale's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
