Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Gökceyazi JK's Nizam Oskay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ertan Samih narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Enis Behiç Yaltır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Özer Oskay hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Aytek Cantürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kartal Öğeturk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Gencer Ortanca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gökceyazi JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Civril the free kick. A collision led to Gökceyazi JK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gencer Ortanca hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Enis Behiç Erdem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gökceyazi JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enis Behiç Erdem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Necati Onatsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Civril's supporters rose to their feet, but Necati Onatsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kartal Öğeturk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Gökceyazi JK's goal looked a bit too open when Aytek Cantürk came free, but Kartal Öğeturk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Aytek Cantürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tayfur Erkılınç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kartal Öğeturk having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nizam Oskay made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gökceyazi JK booed when Civril was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yıldıray Baybars didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kartal Öğeturk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aytek Cantürk in the 55th minute. Tayfur Erkılınç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gökceyazi JK's Kartal Öğeturk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Gökceyazi JK from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Civril's Tayfur Erkılınç slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kartal Öğeturk. That made the score 0-1 after 60 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enis Behiç Erdem in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ertan Samih saved Civril from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Gökceyazi JK's goalkeeper Kartal Öğeturk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aytek Cantürk. Tayfur Erkılınç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Kartal Öğeturk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Gökceyazi JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aytek Cantürk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Civril's Ertan Samih played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enis Behiç Erdem in the 93rd minute of play. Kartal Öğeturk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayfur Erkılınç, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Civril played a much better game than Gökceyazi JK and deserved their victory. The Gökceyazi JK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
