Tacettin Nuralp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kadifekale defense, Şadi Serafet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sertel Serimer. The Kadifekale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sertel Serimer should have stopped the shot. Tacettin Nuralp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hakkı Kenan Çelikkan's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Sertel Serimer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şadi Serafet, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sertel Serimer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Oytun in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Ömer Oytun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sertel Serimer. Kadifekale's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ömer Oytun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sertel Serimer came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Askale's Şadi Serafet. But to his dismay, Şadi Serafet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 36th match minute, Kadifekale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gafur Tuğtaşı to maneuver through the defense. When Askale's Ömer Oytun in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kadifekale's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Şadi Serafet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Askale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şadi Serafet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sertel Serimer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4.

The wind increased when Hakkı Kenan Çelikkan made the kick off in the second half. Askale's Şadi Serafet got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tacettin Nuralp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denizhan Yetkiner in the 60th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Ömer Oytun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Askale's Şadi Serafet got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ömer Oytun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Şadi Serafet made a precise shot to the right of Sertel Serimer. Kadifekale's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Sertel Serimer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şadi Serafet in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Askale's Şadi Serafet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Kadifekale's Sertel Serimer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Kadifekale from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Kadifekale's zone, Ömer Oytun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sertel Serimer came out of the goal and Ömer Oytun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 played minutes Askale got a freekick which was hit by Reis Öğün. In the 97th minute of the match Gafur Tuğtaşı sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tacettin Nuralp skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle sounded Askale left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kadifekale.
