Mehmet Emin Başar came out of the goal and Talha Birhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Namık Toktuğ's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Emin Başar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Beylikova booed when Şeref Sayısı was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ragıp Akarslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Talha Birhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Namık Toktuğ in the 43rd minute of play forced Şeref Sayısı's goalkeeper Mehmet Emin Başar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 49 minutes into the match, Şeref Sayısı's Arif Egemen Beysun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Vedat Keçeci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Mehmet Emin Başar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Namık Toktuğ in the 54th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Şeref Sayısı's Ömür Buğdaycı made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Vedat Keçeci was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mustafa Namık Toktuğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Emin Başar having to interfere. Şeref Sayısı's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Talha Birhan 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. In the 79th minute, Talha Birhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute of the match, Mustafa Namık Toktuğ got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mehmet Emin Başar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mehmet Emin Başar was a little too slow when Serhan Birsan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-2.
