Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when İldeniz Sermet took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, ByBirisi's goal looked a bit too open when Kayhan Sarıkaya came free, but Ersin Tunca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İslam Mutlualp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ersin Tunca having to interfere. Yunus Akkın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İldeniz Sermet, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Malatyaspor's goalkeeper Yunus Akkın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Halis Cerit. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Mehmet Halis Cerit put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Yunus Akkın. After having played for 17 minutes, İldeniz Sermet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ByBirisi's supporters crossed their fingers, but İldeniz Sermet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 played minutes Malatyaspor got a freekick which was hit by Gürcan Karakaya. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gürcan Karakaya during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Malatyaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürcan Karakaya to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 30 in the game by Mehmet Halis Cerit from a close distance when the talented Yunus Akkın managed to make a qualified save. Malatyaspor's players were relieved. Malatyaspor's Kayhan Sarıkaya got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Kayhan Sarıkaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ByBirisi's Ersin Tunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İslam Mutlualp in the 40th minute of play. Ersin Tunca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Koray Elçioğlu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Kayhan Sarıkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Malatyaspor were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The attack was good, but when İslam Mutlualp in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of ByBirisi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Malatyaspor:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ersin Tunca, was totally fooled by Malatyaspor's Mustafa Emrah Vacip, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Mehmet Halis Cerit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yunus Akkın having to interfere. Kayhan Sarıkaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ByBirisi's zone, İslam Mutlualp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ersin Tunca came out of the goal and İslam Mutlualp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seyhun Şems hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Ersin Tunca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İslam Mutlualp's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Kayhan Sarıkaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ersin Tunca having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Kayhan Sarıkaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malatyaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kayhan Sarıkaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If İslam Mutlualp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Malatyaspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
