Gürol Delfin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Ceyhun Çağlayan made a huge save. A hard shot by Gürol Delfin from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Ceyhun Çağlayan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Kaptan Uzlet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fatih Sefer having to interfere. Ceyhun Çağlayan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selmi Ahmetoğlu in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Ahmet Harun Okdemir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ceyhun Çağlayan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kaptan Uzlet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fatih Sefer having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Selmi Ahmetoğlu in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceyhun Çağlayan saved Karşıyakalıyız from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Ahmet Harun Okdemir fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ceyhun Çağlayan, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Karşıyakalıyız's Kamber Ethem got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Selmi Ahmetoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ceyhun Çağlayan was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 41st minute Kamber Ethem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fatih Sefer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Yaşar Titiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceyhun Çağlayan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Selmi Ahmetoğlu to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Karşıyakalıyız's goalkeeper Ceyhun Çağlayan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selmi Ahmetoğlu in the 69th minute of play forced Karşıyakalıyız's goalkeeper Ceyhun Çağlayan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kaptan Uzlet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fatih Sefer having to interfere. Ceyhun Çağlayan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selmi Ahmetoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 80 played minutes Karşıyakalıyız got a freekick which was hit by Celal Özguven. If Kaptan Uzlet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 played minutes Asbuzu got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Yaşar Titiz. Kaptan Uzlet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anıl Ege Sönmez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karşıyakalıyız's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Selmi Ahmetoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Karşıyakalıyız players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Asbuzu.
