Reşit Tükelay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ergin İlighan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murat Selim Tarık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Erzurum BŞB getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Hayri Üstek hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murat Selim Tarık during the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reşit Tükelay in the 34th minute of play forced Erzurum BŞB's goalkeeper Ergin İlighan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

İshak Uluç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İstemihan Ilıcak in the 92nd minute of play. İstemihan Ilıcak succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Erzurum BŞB were victorious despite being under pressure from Karacaören for much of the match.
