The referee ignored Gaski's protests and gave Cevdet Serol a yellow card for diving instead. 23 minutes into the match, Gökalp Hızarcı notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gaski's Mustafa Hakan Suyurgal. Mustafa Hakan Suyurgal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gökalp Hızarcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Gaski's zone, Gökalp Hızarcı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Hakan Suyurgal came out of the goal and Gökalp Hızarcı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 29 minutes into the match, Gaski's goal looked a bit too open when Tibet Arpacı came free, but Mustafa Hakan Suyurgal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tibet Arpacı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mustafa Hakan Suyurgal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkant Ayaz in the 39th minute of play forced FC Bayern Munchen's goalkeeper Aras Sakman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaski's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berkant Ayaz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berkant Ayaz struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Aras Sakman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaski. 46 minutes into the match, Berkant Ayaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aras Sakman. FC Bayern Munchen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berkant Ayaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tibet Arpacı was the one to do the kick off. Mustafa Hakan Suyurgal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibet Arpacı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cevdet Serol came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Gaski fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cevdet Serol couldn't finish the play. Berkant Ayaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Aras Sakman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Tibet Arpacı made a precise shot to the right of Mustafa Hakan Suyurgal. Gaski's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Berkant Ayaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Berkant Ayaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaski's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Bayern Munchen had won, even though Gaski had held more of the ball.
