Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ahmet Seyfi Atikoğlu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hurşit Özengin to maneuver through the defense. Yenal Semdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Seyfi Atikoğlu in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Hurşit Özengin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Besiktas JK the free kick. In the 10th minute, Hurşit Özengin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arif Çelebi Toköz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Yenal Semdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hurşit Özengin kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Hurşit Özengin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Besiktas JK's Hamdullah Akşit broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Göksel Çavlı made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Gafur Veziroğlu sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Besiktas JK's Göksel Çavlı got control of the ball when Gafur Veziroğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramazan Özdeş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göksel Çavlı having to interfere. Timur Tandan took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yenal Semdin. Yenal Semdin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. During the 30th minute of the match Hurşit Özengin completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hurşit Özengin a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 32 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Seyfi Atikoğlu came free, but Yenal Semdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yenal Semdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arif Çelebi Toköz, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Arif Çelebi Toköz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besiktas JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Çelebi Toköz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yenal Semdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anıl Yıldıray kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Arif Çelebi Toköz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ahmet Seyfi Atikoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besiktas JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Seyfi Atikoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yenal Semdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Ramazan Özdeş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gafur Veziroğlu was the one to do the kick off. Gafur Veziroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute of the match Haluk Vural sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yenal Semdin skillfully saved the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Seyfi Atikoğlu came free, but Yenal Semdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramazan Özdeş struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Göksel Çavlı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. Göksel Çavlı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gafur Veziroğlu's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Gafur Veziroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Anıl Yıldıray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Anıl Yıldıray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göksel Çavlı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Seyfi Atikoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yenal Semdin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Besiktas JK's Arif Çelebi Toköz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yenal Semdin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Besiktas JK's Ahmet Seyfi Atikoğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2.
