Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Recai Perkin kicked off to start the match. Beşir Akdemir's late challenge caught a Karakocan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beşir Akdemir helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ayvalik fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Ayvalik's Mehmet Osman Hirfanlı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyhan Cerit in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ayvalik's zone, Uğuralp Çakman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Osman Hirfanlı came out of the goal and Uğuralp Çakman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Karakocan's goal looked a bit too open when Recai Perkin came free, but Nebi Çeliker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kubat Boratay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Nebi Çeliker made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Ertaç Hacı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karakocan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ayvalik the free kick. After 23 played minutes Karakocan got a freekick which was hit by Ertaç Hacı. When Seyhan Cerit came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Karakocan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seyhan Cerit couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ayvalik getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Salih Beyazit hit a great ball. When Uğuralp Çakman came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Karakocan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uğuralp Çakman couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Karakocan's goal looked a bit too open when Recai Perkin came free, but Nebi Çeliker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Mustafa Ali Tuğ was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayvalik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karakocan the free kick. After 35 played minutes Ayvalik got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Ali Tuğ. Sermet Kortan didn't quite understand what happened when in the 37 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Seyhan Cerit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ayvalik getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Abdurrahim Okuyan hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Ayvalik defense, Uğuralp Çakman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Osman Hirfanlı. The Ayvalik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Osman Hirfanlı should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uğuralp Çakman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uğuralp Çakman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdurrahim Okuyan hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Uğuralp Çakman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Osman Hirfanlı having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seyhan Cerit got free with Mehmet Osman Hirfanlı in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karakocan's Nebi Çeliker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Recai Perkin in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Ayvalik's goal looked a bit too open when Uğuralp Çakman came free, but Mehmet Osman Hirfanlı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-5 became the score in the 69th minute when Seyhan Cerit elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ayvalik's Mehmet Osman Hirfanlı proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Ayvalik from getting a goal against them. If Uğuralp Çakman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Osman Hirfanlı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uğuralp Çakman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uğuralp Çakman in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mehmet Osman Hirfanlı saved Ayvalik from getting behind. Recai Perkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nebi Çeliker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ayvalik's Mehmet Osman Hirfanlı got control of the ball when Seyhan Cerit tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Ayvalik supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Karakocan's performance. The match ended with a win for Karakocan.
