Tarık Bicanoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Necip Fazıl Boysel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cenan Kamer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Battal Cüneyt Hastimur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davut Tulun in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tarık Bicanoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Beşiktaş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yetkin Pınar to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Anıl Paksan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, BEŞİKTAŞ's Sungurbey Şahtürk got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ's goalkeeper Battal Cüneyt Hastimur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Anıl Paksan. After 90 minutes of play, Beşiktaş's Tibet Kudret made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Battal Cüneyt Hastimur was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Davut Tulun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although BEŞİKTAŞ had been in control for most of the match, Beşiktaş still came away with the win.
