The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when Alaca FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yakut Ünüvar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Işıkalp Erdem in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüsamettin Seçkin saved Alaca FK from getting behind. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Lokman Süvarioğlu sped through Alaca FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hüsamettin Seçkin. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After having played for 67 minutes, Işıkalp Erdem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Işıkalp Erdem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The GALATASARAY fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when GALATASARAY's Işıkalp Erdem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Lokman Süvarioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Lokman Süvarioğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Lokman Süvarioğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hüsamettin Seçkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gazi Özduran's late challenge caught a GALATASARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gazi Özduran helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Alaca FK's Hüsamettin Seçkin got control of the ball when Lokman Süvarioğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. GALATASARAY's Lokman Süvarioğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Alaca FK's zone, Ahmet Sedat Dafi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüsamettin Seçkin came out of the goal and Ahmet Sedat Dafi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Berkant Tecen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rüştü İslam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rüştü İslam struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ali Berkant Tecen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alaca FK. In the 97th minute, Bilgin Bekdemir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 99 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Alparslan Buminhan came free, but Ali Berkant Tecen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GALATASARAY's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
