Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Işıkalp Erdem started the match with the kick off. The referee gave GALATASARAY a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ali Hamza Öz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ADANA DEMİR SPOR's Şinasi Ulutay. 0-1. In the 10th minute, Işıkalp Erdem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game Lokman Süvarioğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ADANA DEMİR SPOR's Şinasi Ulutay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Lokman Süvarioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şinasi Ulutay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lokman Süvarioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şinasi Ulutay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lokman Süvarioğlu's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Bilgin Bekdemir made a precise shot to the right of Şinasi Ulutay. ADANA DEMİR SPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Işıkalp Erdem came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the GALATASARAY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Işıkalp Erdem couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute Işıkalp Erdem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şinasi Ulutay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Işıkalp Erdem in the 45th minute of play forced ADANA DEMİR SPOR's goalkeeper Şinasi Ulutay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Aytaç Öznur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Şinasi Ulutay skillfully saved the ball. Şinasi Ulutay came out of the goal and Işıkalp Erdem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, ADANA DEMİR SPOR's goalkeeper Şinasi Ulutay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lokman Süvarioğlu. Lokman Süvarioğlus short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Şinasi Ulutay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Işıkalp Erdem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to ADANA DEMİR SPOR getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Bedri Bozbey hit a great ball. The GALATASARAY fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when GALATASARAY's Işıkalp Erdem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Lokman Süvarioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Işıkalp Erdem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Şinasi Ulutay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Işıkalp Erdem in the 92nd minute of play forced ADANA DEMİR SPOR's goalkeeper Şinasi Ulutay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Işıkalp Erdem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şinasi Ulutay having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded GALATASARAY left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ADANA DEMİR SPOR.
