Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5436, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ahmet Gökalp Mukbil made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th match minute, Bornova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fethi Orcaner to maneuver through the defense. Süruri Özgeer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Utku Şahkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Fehmi Murathan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Süruri Özgeer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Utku Şahkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Süruri Özgeer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Göynük JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fehmi Murathan to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match Dilaver Tolgan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gürbüz Ongul skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Gökalp Mukbil in the 18th minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Süruri Özgeer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Gökalp Mukbil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Süruri Özgeer having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, Bornova's Ergin Şikel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gürbüz Ongul was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 24 minutes, Utku Şahkar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göynük JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Utku Şahkar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tuncer Devan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Bornova got a freekick which was hit by Fethi Orcaner. Utku Şahkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Süruri Özgeer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Süruri Özgeer came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Göynük JK's Şükrü Türehan. But to his dismay, Şükrü Türehan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 42nd minute Ahmet Gökalp Mukbil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Süruri Özgeer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Süruri Özgeer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Gökalp Mukbil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Göynük JK's Gürbüz Ongul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuncer Devan in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Gökalp Mukbil in the 61st minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Süruri Özgeer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kayacan Erüstün kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th minute Ergin Şikel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürbüz Ongul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bornova's Fethi Orcaner got a free kick in the 67th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bornova fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Fehmi Murathan shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Süruri Özgeer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Gökalp Mukbil in the 75th minute of play. Utku Şahkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Süruri Özgeer having to interfere. Utku Şahkars short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Süruri Özgeer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uygur Tecimer during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 86 minutes into the game, one of Göynük JK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The supporters of Göynük JK booed when Bornova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karahan Boğataş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Süruri Özgeer made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Utku Şahkar sent off a good shot on target. Süruri Özgeer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Gökalp Mukbil in the 94th minute of play. Göynük JK's Gürbüz Ongul played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ergin Şikel in the 97th minute of play. Bornova's Ergin Şikel got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
