The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Okan Gök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Celil Zor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gürbüz Ongul was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 22nd match minute, Göynük JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özbek Mengüalp to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes Göynük JK got a freekick which was hit by Şükrü Türehan. Okan Gök fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürbüz Ongul having to interfere. Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Özcan Nursal sent off a good shot on target. If Utku Şahkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Göynük JK's Utku Şahkar in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SonCeLLat's goalie prevented a goal. Okan Gök sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celil Zor in the 44th minute of play forced Göynük JK's goalkeeper Gürbüz Ongul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Gökalp Mukbil to make the kick off. Utku Şahkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Gökalp Mukbil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu having to interfere. Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Utku Şahkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, SonCeLLat's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Gökalp Mukbil came free, but Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Göynük JK's zone, Celil Zor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürbüz Ongul came out of the goal and Celil Zor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mehmet Hamdi Elmacıoğlu came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Göynük JK's Utku Şahkar. But to his dismay, Utku Şahkar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Celil Zor came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the SonCeLLat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celil Zor couldn't finish the play. Okan Gök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gürbüz Ongul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Göynük JK's Gürbüz Ongul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Göynük JK from getting a goal against them. After 76 played minutes SonCeLLat got a freekick which was hit by Uğur Tibet. Okan Gök got in the 83rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gürbüz Ongul handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celil Zor in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gürbüz Ongul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. SonCeLLat's Okan Gök got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
