The tension between the Mersin and the XIYCE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Mersin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulvahit Tanyel to maneuver through the defense. Arın Ferhat Ayvaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hürkan Okergun hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Bayındır Karaman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when XIYCE FC's Arın Ferhat Ayvaz in the 30th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ferman Şah was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Mersin through an amazing save. After 33 played minutes, XIYCE FC's Aras Dikmen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferman Şah came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in XIYCE FC reached it. The supporters of XIYCE FC booed when Mersin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atacan İmge didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, XIYCE FC's Ferman Şah threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arın Ferhat Ayvaz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mersin's Ferman Şah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Mersin from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arın Ferhat Ayvaz to make the kick off. Bektaş Veli Saban, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Arın Ferhat Ayvaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Bayındır Karaman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. XIYCE FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
