When Fehmi Murathan fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göynük JK's protests and gave Fehmi Murathan a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Göynük JK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mihalgazi:s goal. The referee gave Mihalgazi a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Şeray Karataş, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Göynük JK's Gürbüz Ongul. 0-1. Durmuş Hizanlı succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. When Göynük JK's Utku Şahkar in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mihalgazi's goalie prevented a goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Utku Şahkar was the one to do the kick off. If Mirza Tekmil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durmuş Hizanlı in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gürbüz Ongul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59thth minute of the game Durmuş Hizanlı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Göynük JK's Gürbüz Ongul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boran Akartuna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Utku Şahkar in the 62nd minute of play. Erkut Balkanlıoğlu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Mihalgazi's Çakabey Seylab got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute Utku Şahkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boran Akartuna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mihalgazi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fehmi Murathan was slow to take the kick. During this time Göynük JK's players had a chance to rest. After 75 minutes, Çakabey Seylab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mihalgazi and the Göynük JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Çakabey Seylab hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Utku Şahkar in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boran Akartuna prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
