Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Van's Kutalp Öztanır played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahsun Haliloğlu in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Asım Geçimoğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Van's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kemal Paşa the free kick. In the 4th minute, Asım Geçimoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Van's goal looked a bit too open when Mahsun Haliloğlu came free, but Kutalp Öztanır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raik Yüksel kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Göktürk Arıhan took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ufuk Baray to make any attempt to save it. Ufuk Baray stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gazanfer Özcan Kelim's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Orhan Veli Iğdırlı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Van's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhan Veli Iğdırlı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orhan Veli Iğdırlı came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ufuk Baray could save by the left post. When Orhan Veli Iğdırlı came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Van fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orhan Veli Iğdırlı couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Orhan Veli Iğdırlı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Van's goal looked a bit too open when Mahsun Haliloğlu came free, but Kutalp Öztanır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kutalp Öztanır showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enginsu Metiner in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gazanfer Özcan Kelim to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Orhan Veli Iğdırlı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enginsu Metiner struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Kutalp Öztanır didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kemal Paşa. After a rather tough play, Van's Gazanfer Özcan Kelim got a free kick in the 58th minute. If Mahsun Haliloğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mahsun Haliloğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Kutalp Öztanır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ufuk Baray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazanfer Özcan Kelim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gazanfer Özcan Kelim in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ufuk Baray prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the match, Kemal Paşa's Mahsun Haliloğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kutalp Öztanır narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Orhan Veli Iğdırlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ufuk Baray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Orhan Veli Iğdırlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Van's Gazanfer Özcan Kelim got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orhan Veli Iğdırlı struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ufuk Baray didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Van. Ufuk Baray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özal Ulualp in the 92nd minute of play. If Gazanfer Özcan Kelim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kemal Paşa's Bulut Serdinç got a free kick in the 95th minute.
