Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramiz Kutlualp started the match with the kick off. Kutalp Öztanır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özcan İrfan, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Orhan Veli Iğdırlı came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Yiğit Palabıyık could save by the left post. If Ramiz Kutlualp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güzelyurt's Ramiz Kutlualp got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Özal Ulualp hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Van's Gazanfer Özcan Kelim got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Van booed when Güzelyurt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osman Çelebi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Van's Orhan Veli Iğdırlı slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yiğit Palabıyık. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. Yiğit Palabıyık was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Gazanfer Özcan Kelim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gazanfer Özcan Kelim really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 40th minute, Orhan Veli Iğdırlı made a precise shot to the right of Yiğit Palabıyık. Güzelyurt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.

Yiğit Palabıyık made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gazanfer Özcan Kelim in the 59th minute of play. When Orhan Veli Iğdırlı came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Van fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orhan Veli Iğdırlı couldn't finish the play. Yiğit Palabıyık didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gazanfer Özcan Kelim went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Asım Geçimoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ramiz Kutlualp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Güzelyurt's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiz Kutlualp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kutalp Öztanır breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Yakut Senih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Van's Gazanfer Özcan Kelim got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gazanfer Özcan Kelim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğit Palabıyık having to interfere. When Van's Orhan Veli Iğdırlı in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Güzelyurt's goalie prevented a goal. The corner led Van's Göktürk Arıhan to fire away a dangerous shot which Yiğit Palabıyık despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Güzelyurt's goalkeeper Yiğit Palabıyık, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute Gazanfer Özcan Kelim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yiğit Palabıyık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Güzelyurt's goal looked a bit too open when Orhan Veli Iğdırlı came free, but Yiğit Palabıyık reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gazanfer Özcan Kelim struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Yiğit Palabıyık didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Van. In the 92nd minute Orhan Veli Iğdırlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yiğit Palabıyık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gazanfer Özcan Kelim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Yiğit Palabıyık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orhan Veli Iğdırlı took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yiğit Palabıyık. Yiğit Palabıyık dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.
