Mehmet Fatih Hanbeyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aycan Elmacı in the 3rd minute of the match. Hüsrev Rafet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Şener Yücelen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10thth minute of the game Hüsrev Rafet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altınordu's Osman Soner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emran Yazgı's late challenge caught a Gürsu FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emran Yazgı helped the player get up and apologised. Hüsrev Rafet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osman Soner having to interfere. Osman Soner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuz Yelesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Oğuz Yelesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osman Soner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Oğuz Yelesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Altınordu defense, Oğuz Yelesen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osman Soner. The Altınordu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osman Soner should have stopped the shot. If Hüsrev Rafet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Dinçer Temur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Osman Soner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Osman Soner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsrev Rafet in the 53rd minute of play. If Hüsrev Rafet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mesut Cevizci hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Mehmet Arif Karin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Altınordu's Osman Soner didn't even have to move. When Gürsu FK's Hüsrev Rafet in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Altınordu's goalie prevented a goal. If Aycan Elmacı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oğuz Yelesen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Osman Soner made a huge save. Oğuz Yelesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sungur Raci hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Gürsu FK's Hüsrev Rafet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Gürsu FK's Hüsrev Rafet got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Hüsrev Rafet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osman Soner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oğuzer Kemalettin hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match Akgün Birdal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mehmet Fatih Hanbeyi skillfully saved the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gürsu FK's Hüsrev Rafet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osman Soner. That made the score 0-5 after 83 minutes of play. Hüsrev Rafet struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Osman Soner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gürsu FK. Hüsrev Rafet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Osman Soner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osman Soner came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Gürsu FK's Oğuz Yelesen. But to his dismay, Oğuz Yelesen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. When the match was over Gürsu FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Altınordu throughout the match.
