Kapadokya's Abdulkadir Ayık played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güralp Şevket in the 9th minute of play. When Eldivan JK's Güralp Şevket in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kapadokya's goalie prevented a goal. Batıray İlksen was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Selami Acaralp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdulkadir Ayık. Kapadokya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Selami Acaralp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Kapadokya's Aykan Sezen got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Selami Acaralp came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Eldivan JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selami Acaralp couldn't finish the play. Selami Acaralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Güralp Şevket's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdulkadir Ayık read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aykan Sezen was the one to do the kick off. Yaman Işıker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aykan Sezen in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Güralp Şevket's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdulkadir Ayık was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the game, Numan Erez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abdulkadir Ayık stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Selami Acaralp's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Ali Behzat Ünüvar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kapadokya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eldivan JK the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kapadokya's Ali Behzat Ünüvar got a free kick in the 69th minute. Güralp Şevket sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Selami Acaralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th match minute, Kapadokya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürbüz Özkurt to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Kadir Çoğa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kapadokya's Abdulkadir Ayık didn't even have to move. After 80 played minutes Kapadokya got a freekick which was hit by Ali Behzat Ünüvar. After 80 played minutes, Eldivan JK's Kadir Çoğa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abdulkadir Ayık came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Eldivan JK reached it. The supporters of Kapadokya booed when Eldivan JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihan Hidayet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aykan Sezen took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yaman Işıker. Yaman Işıker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Kapadokya's Abdulkadir Ayık played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güralp Şevket in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Eldivan JK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kapadokya had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
