Gencalp Canfer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Behzat Ünüvar in the 16th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Kapadokya's goal looked a bit too open when Müjdat Sarıoğlu came free, but Abdulkadir Ayık reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Numan Erez kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Eskihisar's Şakir Denizhan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kapadokya. When Nedim Alkım came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Eskihisar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nedim Alkım couldn't finish the play. Nedim Alkım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Abdulkadir Ayık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nedim Alkım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kapadokya's zone, Nedim Alkım stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulkadir Ayık came out of the goal and Nedim Alkım tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdulkadir Ayık took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müjdat Sarıoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şakir Denizhan hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Kapadokya's Hakkı Deniz Kirtekin got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Aykan Sezen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kapadokya's supporters rose to their feet, but Aykan Sezen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gencalp Canfer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eskihisar's Gencalp Canfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakkı Deniz Kirtekin in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Eskihisar were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hakkı Deniz Kirtekin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Müjdat Sarıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eskihisar's Gencalp Canfer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykan Sezen in the 59th minute of play. Şinasi Uzkan kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Müjdat Sarıoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdulkadir Ayık was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nedim Alkım got free with Abdulkadir Ayık in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 92 in the game by Nedim Alkım from a close distance when the talented Abdulkadir Ayık managed to make a qualified save. Kapadokya's players were relieved. Nedim Alkım could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Abdulkadir Ayık made a huge save. If Nedim Alkım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
