Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tevfik Taşel to make the kick off. Erdal Tüzeman came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. When Abdullah Süleyman came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FENERBAHÇE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdullah Süleyman couldn't finish the play. In the 79th play minute Erdal Tüzeman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nusret Adılhan. 1-2. 85 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's goal looked a bit too open when Tevfik Taşel came free, but Nusret Adılhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erdal Tüzemans short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Nusret Adılhan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Umur Çelen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdullah Süleyman in the 88th minute of the match. Umur Çelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdullah Süleyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göktuğ Akyel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umur Çelen having to interfere.
