The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ege Zorbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Özalp Servet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ege Zorbey skillfully saved the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Sogukkuyu's Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ege Zorbey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Engin Çakar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şenel Duman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. With his leg Ege Zorbey managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Sogukkuyu's Cemalettin Mennan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 33 minutes into the match, Gonyaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu came free, but Ege Zorbey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ege Zorbey having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Sogukkuyu got a freekick which was hit by Cemalettin Mennan. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gonyaspor! Özalp Servet placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cemalettin Mennan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sogukkuyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Cemalettin Mennan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ege Zorbey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bünyamin Onul came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Gonyaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bünyamin Onul couldn't finish the play. Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
