Barlas Şengil charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barlas Şengil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sogukkuyu's Barlas Şengil got a free kick in the 5th minute. After some careless play in the FENERBAHÇE defense, Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nusret Adılhan. The FENERBAHÇE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nusret Adılhan should have stopped the shot. Nusret Adılhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu in the 13th minute of play. When Sogukkuyu's Cemalettin Mennan in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FENERBAHÇE's goalie prevented a goal. Abdullah Süleyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cemalettin Mennan hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Habib Kayhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nusret Adılhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nusret Adılhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute of the match Furkan Mengüer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nusret Adılhan skillfully saved the ball. Fatih Özgulec's late challenge caught a Sogukkuyu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fatih Özgulec helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes FENERBAHÇE got a freekick which was hit by Fatih Özgulec. Abdullah Süleyman came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Şenel Duman could save by the left post. After taking down the ball on FENERBAHÇE's corner Fatih Özgulec fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Şenel Duman quite easily take care of the ball. FENERBAHÇE's Nusret Adılhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu in the 40th minute of play. Nusret Adılhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Cemalettin Mennan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sogukkuyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Cemalettin Mennan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nusret Adılhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind FENERBAHÇE's goalkeeper Nusret Adılhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baransel Daim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nusret Adılhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdullah Süleyman to make the kick off. Abdullah Süleyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Şenel Duman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nusret Adılhan was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After having played for 65 minutes, Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sogukkuyu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 72nd match minute, Sogukkuyu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağan Zekai to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FENERBAHÇE's Yüksel Vefalı got a free kick in the 75th minute. Özalp Servet, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Sogukkuyu booed when FENERBAHÇE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lokman Cumali didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 played minutes FENERBAHÇE got a freekick which was hit by Yüksel Vefalı. Cemalettin Mennan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Nejat Geylanoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nusret Adılhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cemalettin Mennan in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Sogukkuyu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FENERBAHÇE.
