Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Süleyman Özguner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedim Şanlı in the 5th minute of play. If Nedim Şanlı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Gürcan Vefalı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Paşa Ali Tuğalp notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Salihli's Mehmet Ferit Zihni. Mehmet Ferit Zihni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Arda Azimoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VOLKAN SPOR's protests and gave Arda Azimoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Arda Azimoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Nedim Şanlı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salihli's supporters rose to their feet, but Nedim Şanlı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Süleyman Özguner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 23 minutes, Ahmet Harun Vecdet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VOLKAN SPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Harun Vecdet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paşa Ali Tuğalp kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, VOLKAN SPOR's Kemal Çelikkan got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the last second Süleyman Özguner throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nedim Şanlı in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sungur Canaydin had several of the VOLKAN SPOR's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 29 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Süleyman Özguner as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Salihli fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Salihli's Sungur Canaydin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 45th minute Nedim Şanlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Süleyman Özguner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Harun Vecdet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, Salihli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ömer Rıza Samet to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Süleyman Özguner came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Salihli's Sungur Canaydin. But to his dismay, Sungur Canaydin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Süleyman Özguner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baturalp Sağıt, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungur Canaydin in the 68th minute of play forced VOLKAN SPOR's goalkeeper Süleyman Özguner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nedim Şanlı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Süleyman Özguner having to make a save. When Salihli's Sungur Canaydin in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VOLKAN SPOR's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the game, Sungur Canaydin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Süleyman Özguner was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sungur Canaydin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Süleyman Özguner having to interfere. VOLKAN SPOR's Süleyman Özguner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nedim Şanlı in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Sungur Canaydin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salihli's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sungur Canaydin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Nedim Şanlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Süleyman Özguner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paşa Ali Tuğalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of VOLKAN SPOR booed when Salihli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gürcan Vefalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Salihli had won after a very even match.
