Güneri Hanbeyi made an important save on a dangerous shot by İlhan Ayberk in the 31st minute. Zülfikar Kocaman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tan Başat having to interfere. Tan Başat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zülfikar Kocaman in the 37th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0.
