Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gemerek's Refik Tanyeri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Dumlupinar SK fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Dumlupinar SK's Tunç Peyami looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Gemerek's Refik Tanyeri in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Refik Tanyeri couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Refik Tanyeri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gemerek's supporters rose to their feet, but Refik Tanyeri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Ozan Ünalan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 13th minute, Feridun Rafi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazım Dinçay in the 16th minute of play forced Dumlupinar SK's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Ünalan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Gemerek's Mustafa Arif Kutlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arif Ozan Ünalan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 20th minute, Dumlupinar SK's Erol Özarkın seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erol Özarkın the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dumlupinar SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erol Özarkın had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dumlupinar SK! 26 minutes into the game, Nazım Dinçay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Arif Ozan Ünalan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Refik Tanyeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muzaffer Battal hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Hafız Akçınar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 played minutes Dumlupinar SK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Koralp Hürsev. Arif Ozan Ünalan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Refik Tanyeri went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Nazım Dinçay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Ozan Ünalan having to interfere.

51 minutes into the match, Dumlupinar SK's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Ünalan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazım Dinçay. The supporters of Gemerek booed when Dumlupinar SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feridun Rafi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hikmet Kızılaslan hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Süruri Murtaza in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ergün Özkoc saved Gemerek from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Nazım Dinçay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Süruri Murtaza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ergün Özkoc. Gemerek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Süruri Murtaza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 71st minute Refik Tanyeri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Ozan Ünalan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Ahmet Koralp Hürsev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dumlupinar SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Koralp Hürsev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dumlupinar SK's Arif Ozan Ünalan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Refik Tanyeri in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Dumlupinar SK's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Ünalan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nazım Dinçay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Refik Tanyeri in the 86th minute of play forced Dumlupinar SK's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Ünalan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Dumlupinar SK's Arif Ozan Ünalan got control of the ball when Nazım Dinçay tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gemerek's zone, Süruri Murtaza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ergün Özkoc came out of the goal and Süruri Murtaza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Refik Tanyeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
