Kahraman Acun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mümin Onsal charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mümin Onsal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Candir got a freekick which was hit by Mümin Onsal. Abdulkadir Safi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Kahraman Acun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azim Saltuk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Vito Morrison made a huge save. When Atacan Tolunbay fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MERT 04's protests and gave Atacan Tolunbay a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC MERT 04 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Hami Serbülend placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Barış Toycan made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Barış Toycan in the 64th minute of play forced Candir's goalkeeper Kahraman Acun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Candir's Kahraman Acun got control of the ball when Abdulkadir Safi tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC MERT 04's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
