If Yılmaz Kızılateş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Baturhan Tüzün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Akşemseddin Berin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Yaşar Nuri Levent breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36thth minute of the game Akşemseddin Berin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Selamicesme's Faruk Uçur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yılmaz Kızılateş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yaşar Nuri Levent having to make a save. In the 40th match minute, Maslak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sümer Hirfanlı to maneuver through the defense. Yaşar Nuri Levent showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yılmaz Kızılateş in the 41st minute of the match. Kemal Semdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faruk Uçur having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
In the 52nd minute, Kemal Semdin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Selamicesme defense, Kemal Semdin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faruk Uçur. The Selamicesme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faruk Uçur should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Selamicesme's goal looked a bit too open when Kemal Semdin came free, but Faruk Uçur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabahattin Hastimur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Maslak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Sabahattin Hastimur fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selamicesme's protests and gave Sabahattin Hastimur a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Selamicesme got a freekick which was hit by Sabahattin Hastimur. Kemal Semdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faruk Uçur having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Güntekin Tunçkan notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Maslak's Yaşar Nuri Levent.
