Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gürol Başesgi made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Nazım Dinçay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kahraman Acun. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Refik Tanyeri in the 9th minute of play forced Candir's goalkeeper Kahraman Acun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nazım Dinçay in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kahraman Acun, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Refik Tanyeri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kahraman Acun having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gemerek! In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Candir. Hami Serbülend stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ergün Özkoc. 1-1. Kahraman Acun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Refik Tanyeri in the 27th minute of the match. Azim Saltuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ergün Özkoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Refik Tanyeri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hikmet Kızılaslan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Candir's goalkeeper Kahraman Acun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Nazım Dinçay came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Gemerek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazım Dinçay couldn't finish the play. When Gökçek Işınay fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candir's protests and gave Gökçek Işınay a yellow card for diving instead. Gökçek Işınay hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Nazım Dinçay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doğa Ergökmen during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Refik Tanyeri in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kahraman Acun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Azim Saltuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ergün Özkoc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fuat Pakkan hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Refik Tanyeri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Kahraman Acun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Refik Tanyeri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kahraman Acun was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gemerek fully deserved thier win.
