Baturay Karacabey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Vito Morrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Baturay Karacabey came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Erfelek JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baturay Karacabey couldn't finish the play. In the 13th match minute, Erfelek JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necmettin Koçaş to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Yılmaz, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Davut Acar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito Morrison having to interfere. Mustafa Barış Toycan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baturay Karacabey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vito Morrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Erfelek JK's Davut Acar in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC MERT 04's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Baturay Karacabey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erfelek JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baturay Karacabey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Davut Acar made the kick off in the second half. Vito Morrison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davut Acar's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. The supporters of Erfelek JK booed when FC MERT 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mevlüt Uma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Baturay Karacabey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erfelek JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Baturay Karacabey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito Morrison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute Davut Acar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abdulkadir Safi came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FC MERT 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdulkadir Safi couldn't finish the play. If Baturay Karacabey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute of the match, Mustafa Barış Toycan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mustafa Hamit Orkan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in FC MERT 04's zone, Baturay Karacabey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito Morrison came out of the goal and Baturay Karacabey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baturay Karacabey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdulkadir Safi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mustafa Hamit Orkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davut Acar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Davut Acar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-1 became the score in the 94th minute when Abdulkadir Safi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Chants of FC MERT 04 echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Erfelek JK had held the ball for most of the match.
