Spectators: 7197 (Terracing: 5399, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Akşemseddin Berin started the match with the kick off. Melik Yaver kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Gemerek's goal looked a bit too open when Akşemseddin Berin came free, but Ergün Özkoc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Akşemseddin Berin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kemal Semdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yaşar Nuri Levent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazım Dinçay, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 26th minute, Nazım Dinçay made a precise shot to the right of Yaşar Nuri Levent. Maslak's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Refik Tanyeri in the 30th minute of play forced Maslak's goalkeeper Yaşar Nuri Levent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sümer Hirfanlı hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Akşemseddin Berin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gemerek's Ergün Özkoc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Gemerek's goalkeeper Ergün Özkoc had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kemal Semdin. Nazım Dinçay took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yaşar Nuri Levent. Yaşar Nuri Levent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 43 minutes into the game, Kemal Semdin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maslak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gemerek the free kick. After 43 played minutes Maslak got a freekick which was hit by Kemal Semdin. After some careless play in the Maslak defense, Refik Tanyeri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yaşar Nuri Levent. The Maslak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yaşar Nuri Levent should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Refik Tanyeri made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Gemerek got a corner. Maslak's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hafız Akçınar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hafız Akçınar made a great header on Gemerek's corner, it was just that Maslak's Yaşar Nuri Levent managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 56 minutes, Refik Tanyeri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gemerek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Refik Tanyeri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nazım Dinçay did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Yaşar Nuri Levent 60 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Bektaş Ali Kocak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gemerek getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Hikmet Kızılaslan hit a great ball. Ergün Özkoc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kemal Semdin in the 69th minute of the match. Melik Yaver was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. A hard shot 83 in the game by Nazım Dinçay from a close distance when the talented Yaşar Nuri Levent managed to make a qualified save. Maslak's players were relieved. Yaşar Nuri Levent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Refik Tanyeri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Nazım Dinçay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yaşar Nuri Levent was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Gemerek played a much better game than Maslak and deserved their victory. The Maslak players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
