The supporters of Köycegiz SK booed when Candir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hami Serbülend didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Enginalp Doğanten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kahraman Acun was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Azim Saltuk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şerif Tuncel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
